Why we exist
Most lighting sold online is described by lumens and watts — not by what it actually feels like to live with. We cared about the atmosphere. The way a warm glow can make a Tuesday night feel like something worth savoring.
Settle started because we kept recommending the same few products to friends who wanted their space to feel different. There was no single place that actually curated for mood — that could say "this light does this one thing, and does it beautifully."
We built that place. Every product in our store is chosen because it creates a specific feeling — not just because it's functional. If it doesn't make a room feel better, it doesn't make the cut.

A note from our founder
I started Settle because I kept feeling like the things I bought for my space were designed by people who didn't really care about how a room actually feels. The products worked, but they didn't mean anything.
Ambient lighting changed that for me. The first time I set up a warm projector lamp in my bedroom and watched the whole mood of the room shift — I got it. Lighting isn't just functional. It's emotional. That's what we try to sell at Settle: not just a product, but a feeling you can bring home.
